Beatlemania is unique and strong, because she’s still there even if The Beatles are from 60s.

i have a practical question for a change

i wanted to take CPE this year but now i’m considering taking IELTS and my question is: how much different IELTS is from CAE/CPE? or if i were to prepare for CPE in a special course, would i be able to pass IELTS (and get a high grade obviously) too?

The thing about IELTS is that there’s only one test, the same for everyone, and the better you do, the higher your grade is. So I think getting grade 6 on IELTS is equivalent to C on CAE, aprox. You can check that facts online. I’m from Spain and I recently took CAE, having considered taking IELTS. CAE (and all Cambridge certificates) never expires, but IELTS is only valid for a few years (3, I think). If you’re thinking about IELTS because you need it for a degree or something, CAE/CPE are perfectly valid too and they will accept it.

I hope that helps :)
